About your Host

I am an aging Micro Computer Nerd who built his first computer in August 1976 using the 8080 CPU and lots of wirewrap. No monitor, no printer, no storage devices, and even before "Windows", cp/m, and even dos.

While looking for a source for electronic parts I got involved with another nerd connected with the West Coast Heathkit warehouse in Anaheim, CA, and the later development of the Heathki "H8" 8-bit micro computer, the "H9" monitor, and even later the all in one "H89".

Remarkable period it was but soon to be invaded by "Big Blue", IBM, and the only person willing to do business with the coat and tie people, Bill Gates.

Welcome

This website is currently a part-time effort to learn CSS (Cascading Style Sheets) as the future (present?) preferred method of formatting pages than inline HTML commands.

First thing I learned is that you cannot learn from a template generated by someone else.  It's like going into someone else's kitchen and looking in the cabinets and drawers.  All the right stuff is there, but you can't find a darn thing that will help you fix lunch.  The moral: Start with something simple and then build on it with your own technique.

Services:

Form Design

I got into the knack of doing business forms in order to get them into the computer for one reason or another. Some bank, court, and government agencies often approved and used my forms over their own.

Word Processing

Anybody with a computer should be able to do this, but there are many who never acquired the skill, so I offer it to those in need of the service.

Desktop Publishing

Most work these years is low-end work on MS Publisher, but my fees are lower too, in the same realm as word processing. I do a lot of forms, flyers, and newsletters.

Website Design-Webmaster

If you have done your homework, you learned that most individuals and small businesses can't afford professional webmaster design and administration services. It's way too expense.

I'm now retired, though if you want to hire me, make me a nice offer and I might consider changing that status. Most of my work these years goes to my Lions Club organization and other non-profits that need the service, but lack the financial ability to pay for it.

If you don't want to DIY and want to help put food on my table, contact me about your needs.
